Community Building centers around the two-way sharing of knowledge, ideas, and culture to foster strong bonds between individuals, within the cohort, with volunteer partner orgs, and with the general public.
Programming includes:
- Group community service volunteer activities including:
- Restoring Huilua Fishpond with 808 Cleanups
- Lo’i Day at Kākoʻo ʻŌiwi
- Removing invasive species at Ka’ena Point with UH CTAHR and Hawaii Botanical Society
- Networking events with the local professional community
